the day draws near...

well now, preps almost done, just minor stuff here and there. in all likelihood this is gonna be one of the most important day of my life. pls let nothing go wrong, don't let anything, nor anyone for that matter to foul it up. leave with me beautiful memories of the day, be kind to my soul, be kind to my wife-to-be. give us a good head start to this new life. of course, it is not to say that a smooth sailing wedding ensures a blissful marriage, it takes a lot more than that. hell, in fact the real show begins after the event, but we really dun need any more stress than necessary.
perhaps down the road will come the day when my wife and i are doing our dishes, for a moment when our eyes meet, we may just break into a smile, each knowingly recalling that very special day....
